This is a very modern project for two artists and their family, designed by themselves and an award winning Architect. Originally a bakery the building had become dilapidated and was falling apart. We added structural steel to stabilise the existing shell, we then added a second floor to the top of the building, clad in Zinc. Velfac windows and doors were added throughout. We also added a new side extension. Internally insulation was installed to all walls, floors and ceilings, UFH, a new bathroom, new kitchen, CNC machined bespoke birch plywood staircases, birch plywood flooring to the loft and first floors, new electrics and plumbing, a sprinkler system and various other works throughout.
